Adam Smith is Head of Capital Markets (Secondaries & Private Placements) at Pinnacle Global Advisory, where he is responsible for building and leading the firm’s capital markets function across private market secondaries, structured liquidity solutions, and private placements.


Adam works closely with institutional investors, family offices, fund managers, corporate shareholders and high-net-worth investors to originate and execute transactions involving secondary share disposals, GP-led solutions, private capital raises and bespoke placements. His remit includes expanding Pinnacle’s global buyer network, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening the firm’s positioning within the rapidly growing secondaries and private markets ecosystem.


Prior to joining Pinnacle, Adam was at Otala Markets, where he was actively involved in private market transactions and investor engagement across growth-stage and late-stage opportunities.


At Pinnacle, Adam will play a key role in broadening the firm’s capital markets capabilities and supporting clients seeking sophisticated liquidity and capital solutions across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and internationally.
